valueFromDBOrNull
Transforms a value read from the database, handling null values by mapping them to a non-nullable Wrapped value via the transformer.
This method is the entry point used when the raw database value is null. It calls ColumnTransformer.wrap with null to produce the non-nullable result. For non-null values, it first delegates to the underlying column type and then applies the transformer.
